A simple recipe to boost productivity: let’s talk about what you eat!

When we think about personal productivity, we rarely give much consideration to food. We tend to skip meals, eat while working on our laptops, and opt for unhealthy options due to their convenience, speed, and affordability. As a result, we quickly become fatigued, lose focus, get easily distracted, and feel overwhelmed.

STOP! 🚫

What you put in your body affects you, your productivity and cognitive performance more than you might think. Our food choices directly influence our brain's functioning. Neurons, the brain's essential cells, are deeply affected by the foods we consume. An unhealthy diet, high in saturated fats and sugars, can cause inflammation in neurons, hinder the formation of new ones, leading to poor brain function, forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating, mood swings, demotivation, and other challenges.

On the flip side, a diet rich in essential nutrients supports neurons, resulting in improved cognitive abilities, enhanced focus, better memory, and ultimately, increased productivity.

THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE!

Invest a few extra minutes in preparing a well-balanced lunch (it doesn’t take long!!), step away from your computer, and dedicate 15 minutes to mindful eating.

Personal productivity doesn't require complex strategies. No time management techniques will help you be more productive until you address the basics: good nutrition, regular breaks, and healthy sleep patterns as part of your routine.

Commit to eating healthy for a few weeks and see a positive shift in your personal productivity!
